Biography

Alyssa Cordova is entering her first year as an assistant under Lisa Dodd at UNLV.  

Cordova played for Rebel Softball from 2012 to 2016, where she was a four-year starter at second base. During her UNLV career, she amassed 184 starts in 192 games played, registering 36 multiple-hit games and 29 multiple RBI-games. 

A 2012 graduate of Chino HS in Chino, Calif., Cordova was a four year letterwinner in softball. She helped the Cowboys to a 2012 championship in Mt. Baldy League play and a 2011 runner-up finish. She was a Mt. Baldy League First Team selection in 2011 and '12 in addition to earning CIF First Team and All-League First Team honors as a senior. Cordova played her ASA travel ball with the Jets 18 Gold.

Cordova majoried in hospitality management at UNLV and served as the softbal respresative for the UNLV Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC). Her brother, Alec, played baseball at Cal State Fullerton.
