Aresco most recently spent three seasons (2021-24) at Lamar University where he helped improve the Cardinals’ team ERA by nearly a run and a half each season. Aresco joined the Cardinals’ staff as an assistant coach prior to the 2022 season and was then promoted to recruiting coordinator ahead of the 2023 season. Last season, Lamar's pitching staff ended with a 3.02 ERA, which was the best since the 2019 season. In his first season with LU, Aresco helped pitcher Aaliyah Ruiz to a season where she finished with 109 strikeouts, which put her second on the all-time strikeouts list.

Prior to LU, Aresco was an assistant coach at Charlotte where in his first season, the 49ers team ended the season above .500 with players who earned national recognition. The team finished 14-12 overall and 2-1 in Conference USA, gaining its first ever series win over Florida Atlantic. Catcher Bailey Vannoy had a huge sophomore campaign after batting .480 with 12 home runs, 36 RBI, and had a 1.093 slugging percentage, which ranked first in the nation in home runs and RBI. Freshman designated player and pitcher, Madelyn Wright, ranked 10th in the country with a 7.50 strikeout to walk ratio, while senior pitcher Carson Pace ranked ninth in the nation with three saves. The 49ers’ team ERA went down by almost two runs from the previous year.

Aresco was a key figure in Ole Miss’ 41-win campaign in 2019, working closely with Chastain to develop the pitching staff in addition to helping with scouting and game analysis. In his lone season on the coaching staff as a graduate assistant with the Rebels’, Ole Miss accumulated 14 victories against top-25 opponents and finished in the top-10 in Softball America’s final rankings.

Before heading to the South, Aresco spent four seasons as an undergraduate student manager with Oregon’s softball program. During his time with the Ducks, Oregon had great success winning Pac-12 Championships in 2015, 2016 and 2018, and compiled an overall record of 206-36. The Ducks reached the NCA Women’s College World Series three out of the four years Aresco was a student manager.

Aresco, a decorated men’s softball player, has earned four all-World Team selections at the North American Fastpitch Association (NAFA) Men’s Softball World Series. He won the NAFA Men’s 23U World Series Championship in 2016 serving as a player and a coach. He also competed internationally in four ISC World Championships and one European Super Cup.

A native of Stoneham, Massachusetts, Aresco has been heavily involved with USA Softball as a player and a coach. He was a pitcher/utility player for the 2018 USA Men’s 23U Futures Team, and previously played three years on the 19U Jr. Men’s National Team as a pitcher/utility player. He also was a volunteer coach for the 19U Jr. Men’s National Team.

Aresco is a 2018 graduate of Oregon with a bachelor’s degree in general social science. He completed his master’s of business administration from Ole Miss in 2020.
