Brandon Morrison was promoted to assistant coach for the Lady Rebels in October of 2018 after serving as the team’s video coordinator for a two-year stretch, and begins his second full year on the coaching staff this season.
“Brandon has worked his way up from being on the scout team to video coordinator and now assistant coach,” said Kathy Olivier. “He has a great work ethic and an attention to detail that will help us be successful. We are thrilled to have him join our coaching staff!”
Prior to his promotion to full-time assistant coach, Morrison was involved in creating and breaking down scouting film for practice and games for the Lady Rebels, while also assisting in helping to build playbooks and scouting reports for opponents during the season.
Before joining the support staff in October of 2016 as the video coordinator, Morrison was a practice player for the Lady Rebels for four years while earning a bachelor’s degree from UNLV in kinesiology, which he received in May of 2016. He also holds a master’s degree in Sport Administration from the University of Miami that he earned in May of 2018.
