Hailey King is in her second season as the UNLV Women’s Basketball Director of Player Development and Video Operations.
King’s arrival coincided with the Lady Rebels’ best season in program history. In 2022-23, UNLV set a program record with 31 wins and swept the Mountain West regular-season and tournament championships for a second straight season. UNLV’s .912 winning percentage ranked third among all Division I teams behind only top-ranked South Carolina and national champion LSU. The Lady Rebels finished undefeated at home for the first time since 1979. UNLV also matched a program record by going on a 22-game winning streak.
King joined UNLV after four years as an assistant coach at Fullerton College and one season at Hope International University.
King played at Cal State Fullerton and earned both a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Kinesiology and Exercise Science. While at CSF, King also helped coach the Mater Dei High School (Santa Ana, Calif.) freshmen/sophomore team to two undefeated league seasons.
Originally from Solvang, California, King is a 2011 graduate of Santa Ynez Valley Union High School.
