Cursty (Jackson) Le Roux returned to UNLV in June 2021, as an assistant coach on Dawn Sullivan's staff. Le Roux played for the Scarlet & Gray during the 2008 and 2009 campaigns. She currently serves on Athletes Unlimited's Player Executive Committee following a successful international and collegiate playing career.

With Athletes Unlimited, Le Roux has helped recruit players for the first professional women's indoor volleyball league in the United States. Additionally, she has helped create policies and regulations for both players and staff pertaining to pregnancies, injuries and COVID-19 protocols. She has also assisted with initiatives directed towards player accommodations for housing, training and child care.

As a Rebel, Le Roux lettered two years and was named Mountain West Freshman of the Year in 2008 and selected to the all-conference team in 2009. The middle blocker from Los Angeles helped the Scarlet & Gray to 16 wins during her freshman season, which saw her play in 25 matches and 83 sets alongside former teammate and current UNLV assistant coachÂ
Melody Nua. She registered 210 kills off a .261 hitting efficiency and added 79 total blocks (16 solo) and 40 digs. As a sophomore, she led the squad with 325 kills and was tops in all three blocking categories with 99 total, 19 solo and 80 assisted blocks, while playing in all 27 matches and 97 sets.

Le Roux transferred to the University of Arizona for her junior and senior seasons, and helped the Wildcats to back-to-back winning campaigns as well as consecutive trips to the NCAA Tournament in 2010 and 2011. She competed in all 32 matches each year, playing in 119 sets in 2010 and 112 in 2011. In her first year in Tucson, she had a total of 289 kills, a team-high 133 total blocks, and 35 digs. As a senior, she was selected to the All-Pac-10 Team after leading the Wildcats in hitting percentage (.293) and total blocks (102), while adding 332 kills and 76 digs. She posted 14 double-digit kill matches both seasons.

Following the conclusion of her collegiate career, Le Roux ventured to Europe and Asia to play professionally over eight seasons for Quimper Volley 29 (France), Rabita Baku (Azerbaijan), Dresdner SC 1898 (Germany) and Galatasaray Daikin (Turkey) and Hitachi Rivale (Japan).

She also suited up for the U.S. Women's National Team from 2012-17, helping the Red, White & Blue to Gold in 2015 at the Pan American Cup (Lima, Peru), FIVB World Grand Prix (Omaha, Nebraska) and Pan American Games (Toronto, Canada). She was also on the 2013 squad that took Silver at the FIVB World Grand Champions Cup (Tokyo, Japan).

Le Roux earned her undergraduate degree in social behavior and human understanding emphasis from Arizona in 2018. She is married to Kévin Le Roux, a fellow middle blocker and Olympian for Team France who has won FIVB World League and World Championships. The couple has one son, Dwayne.
