Provo, Utah - The UNLV men's tennis team dropped to 6-8 on the season, losing 5-2 to No. 45 BYU.
In singles play, senior Asaf Tishler won his 12th-straight match, 6-4, 6-4, over Manuel Calvo at the top spot. Tishler, ranked 37th, has lost just one set during his current winning streak. Danny Erez was the other Rebel to pick up a victory in singles play. Erez defeated Nic Losee 6-2, 6-7 and 6-2.
The Cougars blanked the Rebels in doubles play winning the three matches 8-6, 8-5 and 9-7. UNLV travels to Utah on April 2.
