SAN DIEGO, Calif. - Nenad Zivkovic won in three sets as the 65th-ranked UNLV men's tennis team upset 32nd-ranked San Diego State 4-3 in a key WAC match-up at the East Courts Saturday.

With the match tied at three, Zivkovic held on at the second singles position to down Adam Webster, 6-3, 6-7, 6-3, and secure the team victory.

The Rebels, who have won three straight road matches over teams each ranked more than 30 spots ahead of them, finished their regular season at 10-8 overall and 4-2 in the WAC. The Aztecs fell to 13-4 and 4-3.

UNLV began the day by winning the doubles point by taking two of three doubles matches. Asaf Tishler and Gregor Skorin won at the second spot while Danny Erez and Tyler Roberts teamed for a win at No. 3.

In singles play, Erez and Skorin won their matches in straight sets to set up Zivkovic's heroics. Tishler, ranked 31st in the nation, was upset at the top position by 39th-ranked Alex Waske, 6-7, 6-2, 6-4. The loss broke Tishler's 15-match winning streak dating back to January 23.

The Rebels will return to San Diego for the WAC tournament on April 22-25.
