LAS VEGAS - The 31st-ranked UNLV women's tennis team moved to 3-0 with an 8-1 victory over Weber State at the Fertitta Tennis Complex Sunday.
The Lady Rebels opened the day by not losing a set en route to taking five of six singles matches. UNLV then swept three doubles points.
Winning for UNLV were Susie Kocsis, Veronica Goude, Katarina Malec, Marianne Bakken and Britta Gabl.
Kocsis then teamed with Valkenhoff to win the No. 1 doubles spot, Malec and Bakken won at No. 2 and Goude and Gabl were victorious at the third position.
UNLV is idle until traveling to play Arizona on Feb. 13 for its first road action of the season.
