TEMPE, Ariz. - The 31st-ranked UNLV women's tennis team lost for the second day in a row by the score of 8-1, this time to 12th-ranked Arizona State Sunday at the Whiteman Tennis Center.
The Lady Rebels fell to 3-2 while the Sundevils improved to 3-2 overall.
UNLV lost all six singles matches and could only manage one doubles point. Winning for the Lady Rebels was the team of Susie Kocsis and Marcella Valkenhoff, which downed Alison Nash and Karin Palme, 8-6, at the second position.
UNLV next opens a three-match homestand Friday against Washington State.
