LAS VEGAS - UNLV senior Susie Kocsis won in straight sets to remain undefeated after the second round of the Third Annual UNLV Women's Tennis Invitational at the Fertitta Tennix Complex Friday.

Kocsis downed Alison Ojeda of Tennessee, 6-4, 6-4, in the third flight of singles.

Both other Lady Rebels in the winners brackets lost while one UNLV duo fell in the first flight of doubles competition.

Former Lady Rebel Gee Gee Garvin, who transferred to BYU this summer, moved into Saturday's championship match of the first flight with a 6-4, 6-2 win over Elizabeth Seiverling of Tennessee. She will face Kim Simonsen of Minnesota for the title.

The tournament features players from four nationally ranked teams competing as individuals in four singles flights two doubles flights.

Saturday's final round will begin at 10 a.m. Admission is free of charge.
