LAS VEGAS - UNLV's October 9 football game at Wyoming will be televised by ESPN Regional Television (ESPN+Plus), the network and the Mountain West Conference announced Monday.
The game will be produced by ESPN Regional Television and made available via a syndicated network of affiliates as part of the ESPN-MWC package. The game will appear in Las Vegas on KFBT-TV (Channel 33/Cable 6) as well as nationally as part of the ESPN Game Plan pay-per-view package. Kickoff time is slated for noon Pacific Time.
Other affiliates airing the weekly conference package include stations in Albuquerque, Boise, Casper, Cheyenne, Denver, Detroit, Grand Junction, Kansas City, Memphis, Phoenix, Portland, Reno, San Diego, Salt Lake City, Tucson and Yuma.
The announcement means that at least four UNLV regular-season games will appear on television this season, the most in school history. The season-opener at North Texas was aired live on KLAS-TV as will the Battle For Nevada vs. UNR this Saturday and the BYU homecoming game on October 23, which has been moved to 7:30 p.m.
UNLV football appeared three times during each of the last four seasons after having no regular-season games aired in 1993 or '94.
