On the other side of the country, Brown played for the West Team in the East-West Shrine Classic played at Pac Bell Stadium in San Francisco. The former Washington State star, who ran for 788 yards for the Rebels during the regular season this fall, got eight carries for a total of 28 yards. Coached by Texas head man Mack Brown, the West won the game 20-10.
