ROCKY FACE, Ga. - The UNLV men's golf team dropped one spot to 15th place after the second round of the Carpet Capital Collegiate at The Farm Golf Club on Saturday.
UNLV (306-308--614) finished the day 20-over par and sits 52 strokes behind host Georgia Tech, who leads at 14-under.
Calvin Kupeyan led the Rebels, carding 75 for the second straight round. At six-over, he is tied for 34th.
Clark Corbett, who topped the UNLV scoreboard on Friday, shot 77 in Round 2 and is tied for 39th place overall at seven-over.
Freshmen Ryan Moore (77-78--155) and J.C. Deacon (80-80--160) and junior Brett Foulds (81-78--159) round out the UNLV lineup.
Setting the pace is the Yellow Jackets' Troy Matteson (68-69--137) at seven-under.
The final round of the tournament is set to begin at 8:00 a.m. EDT.
