LAS VEGAS - The 67th-ranked UNLV women's tennis team won only one singles match en route to a 6-1 loss to No. 51 Washington State at the Fertitta Tennis Complex Sunday.
The Lady Rebels, who lost their second straight match, fell to 2-4 on the year while the Cougars improved to 2-3.
WSU began the day by sweeping three doubles matches for one team point. In singles play, the Cougars won five of six matches - all in straight sets. UNLV's lone victory came at the second position where Agniesza Abram downed Zorana Roganovic 7-6, 6-1.
The Lady Rebels are off until making their first road trip of the season when they will face No. 10 Arizona State on Saturday.
