The UNLV men's golf team enjoyed a productive week off as the team climbed two spots to No. 2 in the latest edition of the Golfweek/Sagarin Performance Index on Tuesday.
The Rebels, who began the season ranked 20th, soared to No. 4 after a runner-up finish at the Tucker Intercollegiate and a third-place showing at the Carpet Capital Collegiate. UNLV was lifted two more spots, moving ahead of Florida and league-rival New Mexico without playing a round.
The Rebels have shot under par in all but one round this season, including their last five.
Individually, sophomore Ryan Moore climbed from 15th to 14th, and sophomore J.C. Deacon ranks 33rd.
