LAS VEGAS - The UNLV men's basketball team will hold a preseason banquet on Thursday, Nov. 14, at the Cox Pavilion, the Runnin' Rebel Basketball Club announced Thursday.

The event, which is open to the public, will begin at 6:00 p.m. with cocktails and dinner will follow at 6:45 p.m.

Former Arkansas Head Coach Nolan Richardson will be the featured guest speaker for the evening. UNLV coaches and players will also be on hand, with the players available to sign autographs.

"This is a great way to begin the new season," UNLV Head Coach Charlie Spoonhour said. "It is an opportunity to honor last year's players and get acquainted with the new people we have this year."

The cost for an individual is $30 and a table of eight runs $200. For $500, banquet sponsors receive a table of eight, an autographed ball, a photo with Spoonhour and recognition at the banquet.
