"Today was a great day for the UNLV tennis team," said UNLV head coach Kevin Cory. "With their being four top-20 teams in this tournament, we feel really good about the fact that we have two players in the quarterfinal singles and the only doubles team we entered is also in the quarterfinals."

Doubles action continues at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday with singles beginning at 9:30 a.m.
