LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – A quartet of Rebels was named to the 2025 Academic All-District® Women's Tennis Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, the organization formerly known as CoSIDA, announced on Tuesday.
Departing seniors
Cindy Hu (Guangzhou, China),
Coco Zhao (Harbin, China) and
Hanna Vinahradava (Minsk, Belarus) were joined by sophomore
Nikol Mircheva (Frankfurt, Germany) on this year's list.
Hu, who also earned this honor in 2023, is a graduate student in data analytics and boasted a 3.81 cumulative grade point average as an undergrad. Zhao held a 3.53 GPA in sociology while Vinahradava held a 3.58 in communication studies and Mircheva boasted a 3.67 in psychology.
Zhao leaves UNLV with the highest doubles win percentage in school history while Hu ranks right behind in second. Both were previously named All-Mountain West this spring for their work on the courts.
Honorees must have at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA while being a starter or significant contributor on the courts. The program recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes women's tennis honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot.
