LAS VEGAS - The UNLV men's golf team sits in third place after second-round play at the Las Vegas Collegiate at the Southern Highlands Golf Club on Saturday.
Ryan Moore shot a 68 and Brett Foulds finished the day with a round of 69 to lead the Rebels.
Heading into Sunday's final round, the Rebels are two strokes behind second-place Georgia and nine strokes behind tournament-leader Georgia Tech, which finished the day at twelve-under par.
Florida's Camilo Villegas, who shared the individual lead after the opening round, sits alone atop the leaderboard at seven-under par following Saturday's 69.
Also contributing to the Rebels' team scoring was J.C. Deacon's even round of 72. Brandon Askew finished with a three-over-par round of 75 and Clark Corbett shot a 76 to round out Rebel scorers.
Brien Davis, who is playing the tournament as an individual, shot a round of 74 to place him in a tie for seventh place with Foulds and Moore at two-under-par for the tournament.
Calvin Kupeyan, also playing as an individual, shot a 74 to place him in a tie for 37th place.
