SAN DIEGO, Calif. - For a second straight meet, UNLV javelin specialist Casey Lektorich (Spokane, Wash.) reached an NCAA women's outdoor regional qualifying standard at the 2003 Aztec Classic hosted by San Diego State Saturday at the SDSU Sports Deck.

Lektorich, a senior, won her second javelin title of the outdoor season with a UNLV career best throw of 148-10.00. Back on March 8, Lektorich also took home top honors in the event with a mark of 145-08.00 at the 2003 Ben Brown Invitational hosted by Cal State Fullerton.

In team events, the Rebels placed first in the 4x100 meter relay with a season best time of 46.81 seconds. Up next, UNLV will head to Cal State Northridge for an all day meet set for Saturday, April 5 in Northridge, Calif.
