STORYLINE: The UNLV Softball team (20-33, 4-10) wraps up Mountain West Conference play and regular season play this week with a pair of road doubleheaders. The Rebels will play at New Mexico (21-32-1, 4-10) on Friday, May 2, in Albuquerque at 1 p.m. Following the matchup with the Lobos, UNLV travels up the road to Fort Collins, Colo., to face Colorado State (29-12, 8-6) on Sunday, May 4 at 12 noon.

ABOUT UNLV: The Rebels are led in hitting by Lisa Moses (.285/0/14), while All-Mountain West Conference third baseman Pauline Glenn (.183/5/20) paces the team in home runs and RBI ... In the circle, Jacqueline Kerrigan (15-10, 1.75) leads the league in wins ... The Rebels were chosen to finish fourth in a vote by the league's six head coaches ... Head coach Shan McDonald is in her 17th season at the helm of the Rebel program and carries an overall coaching mark of 510-463-2.

OPPONENTS: New Mexico enters the week tied with the Rebels for fifth place in the league standings ... The Lobos, however, play six games this week to the Rebels' four ... They will face Colorado State in Fort Collins on Wednesday before hosting the Rebels on Friday and San Diego State on Sunday ... The Rebels trail the all-time series 14-16 ... Colorado State ranks third in the league standings, but also plays six gamethis week ... The Rams have won nine of their last 12, with all three losses coming to BYU ... CSU leads the series with the Rebels 15-17.

NOTEBOOK: Jacqueline Kerrigan earned MWC Pitcher of the Week honors after handing league-leader San Diego State its first conference loss of the season, and doing so with a 3-0 shutout ... The Rebels have beaten every team in the conference at least once except Utah, and their doubleheader in Salt Lake City was snowed out ... With a sweep on this trip, UNLV could move as high as third in the conference standings.
