TEMPE, Ariz. - Michele Suszek finished in 12th place to pace the Rebel women's cross country team to a third-place finish Friday afternoon at the 19th Annual Arizona State Invitational.

Suszek covered the 6k course in 19:45.9, more than a minute and a half behind Beth Hoge of Arizona, who won the race with a time of 18:20.5. The Wildcats won the meet in dominating fashion, scoring 21 points. Arizona State finished second with 52 points and UNLV was third with 89.

Ashley Pierce followed Suszek across the finish line, coming in 26th with a time of 21:05.4. A trio of Rebels came in 35th, 36th and 37th. Sarah Loughlin ran the course in 21:26.4, Katie Hughes was next with a time of 21:28.9 and Erin Hammond came in 37th with a time of 21:31.8.

Leta Rose's time of 21:45.9 was good for 40th place, Colleen O'Brien came in 54th with a time of 23:05.5 and Heather Walsh came in 55th with a time of 23:22.3 to round out the Rebel finishers.
