HOUSTON - UNLV junior golfer Ryan Moore shot a final-round 72 to finish 11th overall at three-under par at the Hall of Fame Invitational on Sunday.
Moore's 72 paced the squad, which scored 300 as a team in the final round. The Rebels finished the tournament in 10th place at 17-over par.
Arizona won the event by six strokes, shooting under par as a team on each of the three days. The Wildcats finished at 18-under, six shots ahead of Oklahoma State.
Arizona's Chris Nallen cruised to an easy individual victory. Nallen opened with back-to-back 66s before shooting 70 on Sunday to finish at 14-under par. He defeated Oklahoma State's Alex Noren by six strokes.
Rounding out the Rebels' scores on Sunday were Sam Hunt with a 74, Travis Whisman with a 76, Ryan Keeney with a 78 and Andres Gonzales with an 80. Hunt posted the highest individual finish of the four, tying for 28th place overall at three-over.
The Rebels get little rest as they return to the road next week. They head to Tucson, Ariz., to compete in the National Invitation Tournament hosted by Arizona from March 28-30.
