SAN DIEGO - UNLV senior Claire Smith saw her run through the consolation bracket come to an end on Sunday at the Wilson/ITA Women's Tennis Regional at the Barnes Tennis Center.

Smith was defeated in a semifinal match by USC's Katie Decker-Sadowski of USC 6-2, 6-0 to close out the Lady Rebels' participation.

Smith, a native of Yarm, England, finished the event with a 5-2 singles record.
