LAS VEGAS - The UNLV men's golf team dropped three spots to 10th in the nation as the latest edition of the Golf Coaches Association of America/Bridgestone Coaches Poll was released by the GCAA on Thursday.
Georgia finished atop its eighth-straight poll by grabbing 18 of 19 first-place votes. The Bulldogs have been the No. 1 ranked team in men's golf since the final poll of last season. Arizona State - who ranked ninth - received the other first-place vote.
Georgia Tech remained second while Florida jumped two spots to third. Oklahoma State, UCLA and BYU all slid one notch. Georgia State moved up to seventh and is followed by Duke, Arizona State and UNLV.
UNLV finished 11th in its last outing at the John Burns Intercollegiate in Hawaii and will host the Southern Highlands Collegiate Championship March 10-12 at Southern Highlands Golf Club in Las Vegas.
