Rebels In Top 10 As Postseason Approaches

LAS VEGAS - As postseason play approaches, the UNLV men's golf team has remained in the top 10 in the country in each of the three polls.

After finishing second at the Mountain West Conference Championship last week by one stroke, the Rebels are sixth in the Golfstat rankings, ninth in Golfweek's poll and 10th in the GolfWorld/Nike Golf coaches' rankings.

Georgia is the top-ranked team in Golfstat, followed by Stanford, Alabama, UCLA, Oklahoma State, UNLV, Lamar, Clemson, Florida and USC.

Golfweek also has Georgia at the top of its rankings, followed by Stanford, Lamar, Alabama, USC, Oklahoma State, Florida, UCLA, UNLV and Georgia Tech.

The GolfWorld/Nike Golf poll also has Georgia as its No. 1, followed by Stanford, Alabama, UCLA, Lamar, Florida, Oklahoma State, USC, Coastal Carolina and UNLV.

UNLV will learn its destination for the NCAA Regionals when the field is announced on Monday, May 7.
