LAS VEGAS - The UNLV volleyball program is welcoming back all alumnae this week with two different events, starting with Thursday night's (Oct. 22) 7:00 pm match against San Diego State. During the intermission of the UNLV-SDSU affair, the alumnae in attendance will be recognized for their contributions to the program. On Saturday, Oct. 24, the alumnae will square off in a match from 9:00 to 11:00 am, prior to UNLV's 1:00 pm contest with Air Force,

Some of the notable alumnae in attendance: Nicki King (2001-04), Leiana Oswald (2000-03), Kristin Koochi (2003-06), Michelle Banks McCormick (2003-06), Tera (Mayes) Carter (2002), Shannon Chase (1999-02), Nina Franchini (2001-04), Mariana Pencheva (2004-05), Sara Fachner (2002) and Tarin Keith (2002-04),

Also, in attendance will be former Rebel and current SDSU head coach Deitre Collins-Parker, who coached at UNLV from 1996-2003, and former Rebel assistants Jeff Richard and Suken Shah.
