Rebels Ranked 13th By Golfstat

LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV men's golf team has moved up four spots to 13th in the country in the latest Golfstat team rankings, which were released Wednesday.

The Rebels have won three of the four tournaments they have competed in this fall: the Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational in Colorado Springs, Colo., on Sept. 19, the William H. Tucker Invitational in Albuquerque, N.M., on Oct. 1, and the Herb Wimberly Intercollegiate in Las Cruces, N.M., on Tuesday. UNLV was ranked No. 17 by Golfstat entering the Wimberly Intercollegiate.

Texas is the nation's top-ranked team, followed by Oregon, Washington, Auburn and Stanford. Spots six through 10 are North Florida, Arkansas, Alabama, California and UCLA. Georgia Tech is 11th and UNLV is 13th. The complete list may be viewed here.

UNLV will open its spring season in February at the at the John Burns Intercollegiate in Hawaii.
