PACIFIC PALISADES (UNLVRebels.com) - Because of rainstorms rolling through Southern California on Wednesday, the UNLV doubles team of Lucia Batta and Aleksandra Josifoska will have to wait at least one more day to play its next match at the Riviera/ITA Women's All-American Championships.

Batta and Josifoska are now scheduled to take on the qualifying draw's top seed, Sacramento State's 16th-ranked team of Rebecca Delgado and Tatsiana Kapshai, on Thursday morning.

Both Lady Rebels also competed late Tuesday evening in the first round of singles consolation. Batta, ranked 95th in the nation, fell 6-1, 6-3 to Duke's 63rd-ranked Mary Clayton, while Josifoska, ranked 117th, upset No. 76 Ekaterina Morozova of Kansas 6-4, 7-5. It is unclear if Josifoska will play another round of consolation because of the weather postponement.
