HONOLULU (UNLVRebels.com) - The No. 19/20 UNLV men's basketball team has won its last five games and six of its last seven after a memorable 124-75 victory over Central Arkansas at the Thomas & Mack Center on Wednesday. The Runnin' Rebels flew to Honolulu on Thursday and will play Hawaii at the Stan Sheriff Center on New Year's Eve, Saturday, Dec. 31, at 3 p.m. HST/5 p.m. PST. The game will be televised live in Las Vegas on KLAS 8 News Now (Oceanic Time Warner broadcast feed) with Kanoa Leahey, David Hallums and Tony Sellitto calling the action. For those outside of Southern Nevada, the TV broadcast will be available via internet streaming for $6.28 through http://secure.oceanic.com/Streaming/ ... Jon Sandler and Robert Smith will handle the UNLV radio broadcast, which may be heard live in Las Vegas on ESPN Radio 1100 AM/98.9 FM. The radio broadcast is also available at UNLVRebels.com through the subscription-based All-Access feature, while Gametracker is provided for free on the website. UNLV's 124 points scored against Central Arkansas was its most in a game since the 1990-91 season. The Runnin' Rebels recorded 40 assists (one shy of the program record) on 47 made field goals on Wednesday and their bench produced an astounding 82 points. Chace Stanback was 9-for-11 from 3-point range against the Bears, tying the Thomas & Mack Center for most 3-pointers made in a game (one shy of the program record). Over the last three games, Stanback is 20-of-27 from 3-point range (74.1 percent).
