SANTA BARBARA, Calif. (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV swimming and diving teams were swept in a dual meet at UC Santa Barbara on Saturday afternoon. The Rebel men lost by a 134-122 score, while UNLV's women dropped a 166-134 decision.

Andrew Morrell won two individual events to pace the men's efforts. He claimed both breast events, swimming times of 57.11 in the 100 and 2:04.75 the 200. Other winners included Balint Batka in the 200 fly (1:49.64), Coleman Allen in the 100 fly (50.07) and Giacomo Gremizzi in the 200 IM (1:53.59).

For the women, Jessica Heim was a triple winner, taking first in the 500 free (5:03.61), and 1000 free (10:23.00) and the 200 fly (2:06.35). Rachel Dixon swept the sprint free events, winning the 50 free in 24.35 and the 100 free in 53.66, while Mariah Skeen placed first on both the 1-meter (281.10) and 3-meter (239.32) boards.

The next action for the Rebels will be on Saturday, Jan. 28, when the UNLV men will have their Senior Day against Air Force at 12 pm in Buchanan Natatorium.
