ATLANTA (UNLVRebels.com) – UNLV women's swimming junior Ava Olson concluded her trip to the NCAA Championships Friday at the McAuley Aquatic Center.
In her second race of the meet, Olson placed 53rd overall in the 500 free (4:47.49).
During the season, she broke the school record in the event three times, including when she won the 500 free conference title at the Mountain West Championships (4:43.08).
Olson competed in Wednesday's 1650 free prelims session placing 22nd (16:27.04). Following the finals, she finished 30th overall.
UP NEXT: Freshman Rachel Wigginton will swim in the 200 fly tomorrow. Prelims will start at 7 a.m. PT, followed by potential finals at 3 p.m. PT.
