LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - UNLV junior standout Aleksandra Josifoska has won her fourth career Mountain West Women's Tennis Player of the Week award, the league announced Wednesday.

Josifoska also earned the honor twice as a freshman and once last year as a sophomore. Last weekend she went a combined 4-0 in singles and doubles for the Lady Rebels, who returned to the national rankings yesterday at No. 67.

Playing at the No. 1 position, the native of Skopje, Macedonia, downed Dominika Zaprazna of Marshall, 6-1, 6-4, on Friday and then defeated 111th-ranked Aleks Malyarchikova of SMU to help UNLV upset the then-50th-ranked Mustangs 5-2 on Saturday. Josifoska also teamed with Janine Erasmus to win both of her doubles matches.

Overall, Josifoska, who is ranked 32nd in the nation, improved to 23-7 in singles.
