LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - UNLV junior Lucas James was named the WAC Men's Diver of the Week, the league office announced on Tuesday.

James, a native of El Cajon, Calif., competed in the Arizona Diving Invitational this past weekend for the Rebels. He posted top-eight finishes in all three events, beginning with a sixth-place finish on the 1-meter with a score of 293.50. James followed that with a seventh place score of 274.60 on the 3-meter. His final event, the platform, saw him score 227.30 to place second overall.

The Rebels will next be in action on Saturday, Dec. 6, when they host Arizona State at 12 pm in Buchanan Natatorium.
