LAS VEGAS (AP) - Dwayne Morgan had 23 points and 12 rebounds, both career highs, and two teammates also had double-doubles as UNLV coasted to a 113-53 win over Saint Katherine on Friday night at Orleans Arena.
Christian Wood had 20 points and 11 rebounds and Goodluck Okonoboh had 12 points and 10 rebounds for the Runnin' Rebels (5-2). Jordan Cornish had 19 points and Cody Doolin and Dantley Walker had 12 apiece.
Saint Katherine (1-8), playing its second season of men's basketball, was led by D'Vaughn Mann and Jebari Robinson with 10 points each.
UNLV shot 62 percent, going 13 of 22 from 3-point range, and had a 56-31 rebounding advantage. Cornish and Walker each had four 3's and Doolin three. The Rebels were also 18 of 28 from the foul line while the Firebirds made 5 of 8.
