2014 USA Indoor Track & Field Championships: Schedule | Heat Sheets

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (UNLVRebels.com) - Former UNLV track & field alumnae Lekeisha Lawson and Amanda Bingson will compete at the 2014 USA Indoor Track & Field Championships in Albuquerque, N.M. Lawson will take to the Albuquerque Convention Center track Saturday at 12:40 pm MT (11:40 pm PT) in the first round of the 60m, while Bingson will step inside the ring for the weight throw at 2:05 pm MT (1:05 pm PT).

Coincidentally, Lawson's best 60m time (7.10) occurred at last year's meet - a runner-up finish in Albuquerque.

Bingson, who has achieved success during the outdoor season in the hammer throw the past few years, just accomplished a personal best in the weight throw at the NYRR Millrose Games (21.43m) a week ago in New York. At the 2013 indoor national meet, she finished sixth overall (20.36m).

Both have the opportunity to represent Team USA at the IAAF World Indoor Championships in Sopot, Poland on March 7-9.
