LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - One of the warmest days this spring welcomed UNLV football back to Rebel Park on Monday, as the Rebels resumed their spring practices.
After today's practice, the team has now worked out seven times as a full unit this spring. With only eight practices remaining, including the Spring Showcase, the Rebels are looking to improve.
"We need to get better as a football team and better as individuals," head coach Bobby Hauck said. "Spring ball is a lot of fundamental work. I like our team but we have a long way to go."
WELCOME BACK:
UNLV football resumed its spring sessions with a full-pad practice after taking a week off during UNLV's spring break. The team practiced for over two hours in the beautiful weather at the Ernie Becker, Sr. Football Fields at Rebel Park.
"Our practices before break were great," Hauck said. "Today was not the best. We need to get it going and have a better practice on Wednesday."
UP NEXT:
The Rebels will resume practice on Wednesday afternoon and will have another practice on Friday morning.
UNLV is scheduled to work out three times a week. All practices are open to the public but viewing areas are restricted and no use of mobile communication devices will be allowed while at Rebel Park. Please note that times are subject to change.
The public is invited to attend the FREE family-friendly Spring Showcase on April 11 on campus that begins at 5:30 p.m.
