SACRAMENTO, Calif. (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV track & field team finished second overall with a total of 131 points at the Mondo Multi & Mid-Major Challenge in Sacramento, Calif., at Hornet Stadium this weekend. The Rebels were only 2.5 points behind first-place Fresno State (133.50) in the standings and seven ahead of third-place Sacramento State (124). The Rebels were paced by 21 top-eight finishes on the day, including Auzsane Crowe-Carter's win in the 800m and two more from the 4x100m and 4x400m relays.

Crowe-Carter ran a 2:06.03 in the 800m before anchoring the final leg of the 4x400m relay and its time of 3:39.43. She was joined by Alva Castillo, Monay Meggs and Kenia Bonilla in the foursome. Her time in the 800m was a personal best and ranks ninth nationally.
