LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV track & field program will hold a Costume-Rama - a throwing event - at Myron Partridge Stadium Sheila Tarr-Smith Field on Halloween morning (Saturday, Oct. 31).Sign-ups will take place between 8:30 to 9:00 am at the track shed with the first throws scheduled for 9:30 am.

The event is open to the public and costs $10 to enter. Participants can compete in one to five of the throwing disciplines (discus, shot put, hammer, javelin and weight throws).

Contestants will be give three throws per events and the distances will be measured by best mark.

Some drinks and snacks will be provided, while other surprise awards and mementos will be presented to those competing.

Spectators are welcome to attend free of charge.
