LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - With the UNLV football team hosting its first conference home game of the season vs. San Jose State Saturday night at Sam Boyd Stadium, it's time for the third edition of the all-new Rebel Block Party pregame experience.

Open to the public, this time starting at 3:00 p.m., the Rebel Block Party is located in the northwest parking lot of the stadium. The 64,000-square-foot area offers a variety of food trucks on-site to lead you up to the 6 p.m. kickoff.

The Block Party will also include a free Kids Zone featuring a face painter, balloon artist, football toss and inflatables. A live remote by KOMP 92.3 featuring Sparks from "B.S. in the Morning" will also include games and prizes.

Fans are encouraged to gather at the Block Party to help the UNLV cheer and dance teams and Star of Nevada Marching Band greet UNLV head coach Tony Sanchez and his squad as they make their Rebel Walk into the stadium. Team buses are scheduled to arrive this Saturday at 4:00 p.m.

Following the Rebel Walk, a free concert will begin at 4:30 p.m. as appearing live on the Rebel Block Party Stage this week will be Las Vegas-based musician Shawn Eiferman.
