LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - Both of UNLV's singles players lost in the main draw semifinals Saturday as part of the Rebel Tennis Women's Invitational at the Fertitta Tennis Complex. In Flight Three, Paola Artiga fell to Jessica Golovin of LSU, 6-2, 6-1, while in Flight Four, Reka Szentes lost to Mia King of TCU, 7-6, 6-2.

In doubles play, Artiga and Aiewn Zhu dropped a tough, 8-7, match against USC's team of Zoe Katz and Jessica Failla.

Zhu will play for the consolation title in Flight One on Sunday when she faces TCU's Aleksandra Zenovka. Zhu downed Idaho's Ana Batiri, 6-1, 6-3, to advance.

Joining the Rebels in the powerhouse lineup this weekend were competitors from top national programs such as USC, Baylor, TCU, LSU, Oklahoma and Texas A&M as well as ITA Mountain Region rival Idaho. Featuring four flights of singles and two flights of doubles, all matches are free and open to the public. Doubles finals start the action Sunday beginning at 10 a.m., followed by singles play.
