Former @UNLVbaseball Players Sign Professional Contracts

LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) -- Four former UNLV baseball players signed professional contracts and are currently with Minor League teams.

The Arizona Diamondbacks selected Joey Armstrong in the 10th round of the 2015 MLB Draft. Armstrong signed for $154,600 and is with the Diamondbacks' Pioneer League team, the Missoula Osprey.

The Tampa Bay Rays selected Bryan Bonnell in the 36th round of the 2015 MLB Draft. Bonnell signed with the team and is currently on the team's Gulf Coast League roster.

Two Rebels went undrafted, but also signed professional contracts. Zack Hartman signed with the Los Angeles Angels and is currently with the Angels' Arizona League team and Erik VanMeetren signed with the Washington Nationals and reported to the Nationals' Gulf Coast League squad.
