With the UNLV football team set to host Idaho State Saturday night at Sam Boyd Stadium, it's also time for the all-new Rebel Block Party pregame experience to get fired up for a second time.

Open to the public, this time starting at 3 p.m., the Rebel Block Party is located in the northwest parking lot of the stadium. The 64,000-square-foot area offers a variety of food trucks and a frozen treat station on-site to lead you up to the 6 p.m. kickoff.

The Block Party will also include a free Kids Zone featuring a face painter, characterist, balloon artist, football toss and inflatables.

Fans are encouraged to gather at the Block Party to help the UNLV cheer and dance teams and Star of Nevada Marching Band greet UNLV head coach Tony Sanchez and his squad as they make their Rebel Walk into the stadium. Team buses are scheduled to arrive this Saturday just before 4:00 p.m.

Following the Rebel Walk, a free concert will begin at 4:45 p.m. as appearing live on the Rebel Block Party Stage this week will be one-man band Dan Fester. Also, the UNLV women's soccer team will drop by to sign autographs from 4:45-5:30 p.m.

"We had a fantastic response to the new Rebel Block Party in our season-opener so we are excited to make it even better every week," said UNLV Director of Athletics Tina Kunzer-Murphy. "We invite all fans to come and wish the team good luck as Tony and players make the Rebel Walk before the game."
