LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The Larry Easley Memorial Classic continued Saturday at the Fertitta Tennis Complex.

UNLV was shut out in singles play but got three wins in consolation doubles action. Adam Gage-Brown and Richard Solberg downed Adi Zilberstein and Felix Schumann of NAU, 8-4; Courtney Lock and Evaldo Neto got by Lorenzo Fucile and Mathieu Rajaonah of Grand Canyon, 8-7 (6); and Alexandr Cozbinov and Ruben Alberts (UNLV) downed fellow Rebels Peter Horvath and Kevin Chau 8-6.

The finals are Sunday and admission is free of charge.

Players from six other programs are competing in the individual event: USC, UCLA, Oregon, Portland, NAU and Grand Canyon.

The annual tournament was renamed in 2010 in honor of UNLV Hall of Famer Larry Easley, who passed away from illness in 2005 at the age of 57. Easley coached the UNLV men's tennis team longer than anyone in history and produced sometimes-spectacular results over his dozen seasons from 1993-2002, including producing five All-Americans and two NCAA individual champions.
