TV, Times Announced For Two More UNLV Games

June 23, 2016

LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - ROOT SPORTS and the Mountain West Conference announced Thursday that the network will show a pair of UNLV football home games this fall.

The official regional television partner of the league will show eight total MW games in 2016, including Colorado State at UNLV on Saturday, Oct. 22, which will kick off at 2:30 p.m. PT; and Wyoming at UNLV on Saturday, Nov. 12, which will start at either Noon or 12:30 p.m. PT.

ROOT networks combine to reach approximately 13 million households across 22 states but are available in Southern Nevada by satellite only (DirecTV 683/DISH 5414 HD). This marks the second consecutive season that the Rebels' clashes vs. both the Rams and Cowboys will be televised by ROOT. UNLV also previously appeared on the network twice vs. New Mexico (2013 and '14).

The news means that all but three of UNLV's 12 games this fall have been assigned a television partner. More broadcasts by the Mountain West Network powered by Campus Insiders and Oceanic Time Warner Cable will be announced in the coming weeks.

UNLV will open the season by hosting Jackson State on Thursday, Sept. 1. Season tickets are available now by calling (702) 739-FANS or visiting unlvtickets.com.
