MW All-Conference Release | MW Awards - Media Selections
LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - UNLV men's basketball junior guard Jovan Mooring was selected Third Team All-Mountain West as voted on by the league's 11 head coaches and announced Tuesday.
On Sunday, the league's media released its All-MW selections and Mooring was also named third team all-league.
For league-only games, Mooring led conference in assists with 4.7 per game. He was also 13th in scoring with 15.1 points per contest. He ranked third in the MW in steals with 1.5 spg, fourth in assist/turnover ratio at 1.7 per game, sixth in 3-pointers made with 2.3 per game, seventh in minutes played at 34.5 per game and ninth in 3-point field-goal percentage (.380).
The Runnin' Rebels are the No. 11 seed for this week's MW Tournament at the Thomas & Mack Center. UNLV will face No. 6 seed San Diego State in the first round on Wednesday, March 8 at 4 p.m.
