LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - UNLV men's swimmer Serginni Marten will compete on the international swimming circuit next week at the FINA World Championships in Budapest, Hungary. The rising senior will swim for Team Curacao at the event, which takes place July 23-30.

The Willemstad, Curacao, native joined the Rebels this past season, swimming primarily in the freestyle and breaststroke events. He wrapped up his first year at UNLV by turning in personal-best times in the 50-yard freestyle (20.61) and the 200-yard breaststroke (2:00.90) events at the 2017 Western Athletic Conference Championships in February.
