LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – UNLV's top player was upset in the singles final but the Rebels still finished with a combined record of 7-1 in Sunday's last day of action at the Women's Tennis Fall Invitational inside the Fertitta Tennis Complex.
 
Joining the Rebels this weekend were competitors from Long Beach State, NAU, San Jose State and Southern Utah.
 
Senior Aiwen Zhu, ranked 49^th in the nation, saw NAU's Chiara Tomasetti rally for a 3-6, 7-5, 6-4 victory to take the overall singles title but the hosts did pick up co-championships in flights two and three while freshman Alex Kalachova took the top honors in flight five.
 
Also, the UNLV team of Samantha Li and Izumi Asano won the second flight of doubles.
