LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) -  The UNLV men and women's swimming and diving teams finished the second of action Monday at the UNLV Invitational which is being contested at the Jim Reitz Pool. Competing with the Rebels are full squads from Pacific, Cal Baptist, Linfield and Fresno Pacific.

THE RUNDOWN - WOMEN: 
*Sophomore Montse Moreno placed first on 1 Meter (313.95), senior Kourtney Clark took third (227.65), junior Josauli Lacuesta finished seventh (192.55), and sophomore Gillian Ashley placed eighth (186.65).
*Kicking off the first swimming event, Kacey Kiuchi, Skylar Moore, Kate Afanasyeva, and Caitlyn Schreiber finished first in the 200 medley relay with a swim of 1:41.67. Lindsay Swail, Annie Sanguansin, Gabby Lizzul, and Kristina Schneider touched fourth (1:45.02) and Eva Kim, Carissa Armijo, Teneka Ash, and Ava Haase placed fifth (1:45.42).
*Sophomore Camilia Quineche took fourth in the 400 IM with a swim of 4:28.94, sophomore Gabby Tellez finished fifth with a time of 4:30.39.
*Junior Lindsay Swail placed first in the 100 fly (55.71), sophomore Teneka Ash followed in second (56.01), sophomore Gabby Lizzul touched fourth (56.20), sophomore Kristina Schneider took fifth (56.30), and junior Tara Wise placed sixth (56.55).
*Sophomore Julia Filippova touched first in the 200 free (1:49.96), sophomore Camryn Wheals placed third (1:50.09), sophomore Filio Raftopoulou finished fourth (1:50.49), sophomore Carissa Armijo took fifth (1:50.50), junior Lauren Smith finished sixth (1:51.39), and Wise touched eighth (1:54.31).
*Moore finished sixth in 100 breast with a swim of 1:04.76.
*Junior Kate Afanasyeva touched first in the 100 back with a time of 54.01, Kiuchi took second (55.20), Swail placed fourth (55.48), and Kim finished sixth (57.75).
*Closing out the meet, Lauren Smith, Kristina Schneider, Camryn Wheals, and Carissa Armijo took first in the 800 free relay (7:23.24), Gabby Lizzul, Julia Filippova, Filio Raftopoulou, and Kacey Kiuchi placed second (7:29.75).

THE RUNDOWN - MEN:
*Junior Jesse Cawley placed second on 3 meter with a score of 288.80.
*The 200 medley relay team of Ogi Maric, Sam Willstrop, Bryan Chavez, and Sean Gage placed second (1:28.07), Panos Bolanos, Jack Binder, Aren Kariotis, and Hayden Hemmens took third (1:28.61), and the team of Richard Szilagyi, Ivan Zukov, Casey McEuen, and Michal Cukanow finished fourth (1:29.07).
*Sophomore Ivan Zukov placed first in the 400 IM with a time of 3:54.53, sophomore Hayden Cornellison followed in fourth (3:59.91), senior Dagen Kipling finished fifth (4:01.74), freshman Cameron Castro took eighth (4:08.24).
*Freshman Bryan Chavez touched first in the 100 fly (48.12), sophomore Casy McEuen took second (48.54), freshman Aren Kariotis finished fourth (49.05), sophomore Michal Cukanow placed fifth (49.06).
*Freshman Ogi Maric touched first in the 200 free (1:36.61), freshman Christopher Mykkanen took second (1:39.36), senior Hayden Hemmens finished sixth (1:41.46), and freshman Steven Butler placed seventh (1:42.18).
*Sophomore Sam Willstrop finished second in the 100 breast with a time of 55.56, sophomore Jack Binder placed fourth (55.77), Zukov took fifth (56.02), and Gage took sixth (56.36).
*Bolanos took first in the 100 back (48.78), Szilagyi finished fourth (49.73), and Kariotis placed eighth (51.39).
*The 800 free relay team of Bryan Chavez, Panos Bolanos, Richard Szilagyi, and Christopher Mykkanen took first (6:34.97), Cameron Castro, Ogi Maric, Hayden Hemmens, and Michal Cukanow placed second (6:41.82).
