LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV men's basketball team rallied from a double-digit deficit and led late, but fell just a point short against San Diego State, 60-59, Saturday night in a Mountain West game at the Thomas & Mack Center.

The Aztecs (18-9, 10-4) were led by Jalen McDaniels' 16 points, while Matt Mitchell scored 15 and Devin Watson had 13.

A CHANCE TO WIN IT: Hardy looked to get in the lane, then found junior forward Nick Blair wide open, but Blair's 3-point attempt fell off the rim as time expired.
